UPDATE

If you have my previous scenery Western Himalaya Airports of Kashmir and Jammu for FS2002 installed, remove them through the scenery library meny of FS2004.
If you have any other mesh covering the area, this should be deactivated.

INSTALLATION

1. First of all you install the SRTM Mesh. If you don't, the levelling of Thoise and Chitral airports will not fit in with the surrounding scenery.
Unzip the scenery to a folder of your choice.

2. IMPORTANT: Before continuing make a backup of the files

AP967190.bgl
AP968190.bgl

from your ...Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\asia\scenery, so you can revert to to standard levels if neccesary.

Copy the two .bgl files in this zip file to your FS9 scenery folder:

.....Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\asia\scenery

Reply Yes to "Would you like to replace the existing file".

It is only the airports Thoise and Chitral that will be affected, other airports in the .bgl files will remain FS2004 standard level.

Start FS9, choose Settings and then Scenery Library, Select Add Scenery and find the folder where you installed the Mesh. Press OK and then exit FS9 for it to build up the new scenery files indexes.
It is IMPORTANT that you do this BEFORE you install the Kashmir and Jammu Scenery (the Mesh must have a lower priority than the Scenery. Also, if you omit this operation at this point, FS9 might revert back to the original two BGL files).

3. Unzip the Kashmir scenery to a folder of your choice. Start-up FS9, choose Settings and then Scenery Library, Select Add Scenery and find the folder where you installed the Kashmir scenery. Press OK and Exit FS9. Restart FS9 and the scenery is active.

UNINSTALL

1. Scenery and Mesh: Start-up FS9, choose Settings and then Scenery Library, select the Kashmir scenery and the Kashmir_Jammu_Mesh scenery, and choose delete. Press OK and confirm. Exit FS9.

2. .bgl files: Copy the files AP967190.bgl and AP968190.bgl that you have backed up to your FS9 scenery folder ...Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\asia\scenery, and reply Yes to "Would you like to replace the existing file". Restart FS9 and Exit (if you omit this operation FS9 might revert back to the modified BGL files).
